Malwarebytes detects a threat called PUP.Optional.MySearchDial.A on my computer. I quarantine and delete it and reboot my computer. However, when I run the antivirus program again I still find entries for the threat. The path location is C:\Users\(name)\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\rs4qtkex.default\prefs.js for every single entry. Is there any suggestion?

Click the trash can icon next to the extension you’d like to completely remove. Click Remove when a confirmation dialog appears.

Step 4: Show hidden files of the system and delete the PUP files.

Click the Start button and go to Control Panel. Click on Appearance and Personalization to select Folder Options.

Click the View tab, select “Show hidden files and folders”, deselect “Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)” and then click “Apply” to show hidden files and folders.

Click Start button and type regedit in Run click OK or type regedit in the search box and open regedit.exe in the search results.
